Since we discovered the trick we cannot get enough of it!

No work, no trash, unlimited vegetable stock.

Any time you peel vegetables or fruits, place the scraps in a container in the freezer rather than in the bin. The scraps will stay in perfect condition until needed. When your container is full, place the scraps in a pot covered with water (the better the vegetables, the sweeter the fruits, the better the stock).Simmer for about an hour or more and strain.<br>Add oil, salt and chili and miso paste, or anything you find tasty really. Place in a glass bottle in the fridge or in a plastic container in the freezer until needed.

A real tasty stock, full of nutrients to add to a soup, to cook pasta in, to make béchamel with, you name it!
